Chagit Lanton

Yoga therapeutics, Vinyasa, Barre teacher

After many years of study in the field of psychology, Chagit sought out a therapeutic modality that married her love of navigating the mind’s inner workings, and her reverence of yoga’s ability to promote healing on a truly embodied level. Soon after completing her first yoga teacher training in 2013 at the Yandara Institute in Baja MX, she pursued a specialization in yoga therapeutics at Re:source yoga in Montreal QC under the guidance of Carina Raisman. Chagit has partaken in over 500 hours of training, assisted in teacher training and taught at yoga destinations across Costa Rica, and has been blessed to explore the art and science of yoga, movement, and healing with some of her greatest inspirations, including humanitarian and internationally celebrated instructor Seane Corn. She is a lover of dance, music, heartbeats, breath sounds, and the cathartic magic that occurs while conversing with and through the body. Chagit blends her fascination with body language and energetics into the framework of classes that emphasize deeper corporal awareness and integration, and sequences that playfully blend balance, anchoring, and fluidity. In April of 2016, Chagit moved to Israel and has since been teaching at Inspire Jerusalem. In addition to her studio schedule of flow, foundations and barre-fusion classes, Chagit offers private and individualized sessions in various styles of yoga including vinyasa flow, alignment, therapeutics, and restorative bodywork.
