Vinyasa is the Sanskrit word for "flow". Vinyasa classes are known for their fluid, movement-intensive practices. Classes begin with gentle poses to warm the body and guided breathwork to center the mind. The vinyasa flow is at a smooth and grounded pace offering students time to feel their way through basics building up to some intermediate poses and learn principles to modify according to individual needs for a safe and satisfying practice. This class benefits all, from beginners wanting to enter the creative world of vinyasa to advanced practitioners interested in refining detail. Vinyasa classes are a good way to build up a sweat and get a good workout. Focus is on building strength in the arms, legs and core. Taught by Chaya Bracha, Chagit and Maayan.
Pilates exercises are performed mostly lying down on the mat so you can relax while you work each muslce group. The main muscle groups targeted are the back and the stomach muscles. Pilates is a great choice for pre and post natal and can be used to treat back pain and relieve neck and shoulder tension. Pilates greatly improves the posture by opening the neck, chest and shoulder muscles and strengthening the back and the core. At Inspire, Pilates classes are taught using a range of equipment (weights, balls, hoops, resistance bands.) Pilates tones the whole body from head to toe so you're guaranteed to find yourself in better shape within 10 classes! Classes are taught by Elisheva and Noa - see schedule.
New class for mothers and babies, taught by Elisheva. Get your workout in without needing a babysitter! The class is a blend of Yoga and Pilates with a focus on strengthening the pelvic floor and core muscles. The babies are invited to join in with the class - many of the exercises involve interacting with the babies and including them in the exercises. (It's very stimulating for the kids and offers an opportunity to bond with your baby whilst working out). The class is suitable for mothers 6 weeks after birth (or with permission from your doctor after C-section) and for babies up to 18 months old.
Barre classes are a great way to tone your legs, thighs and hips, improve your stamina and generally up your fitness levels. The class is divided into two 30 minute sections. The second half of the class moves onto the Barre where the focus is on toning the legs and hips. The Barre is used as a prop to balance while doing simple repetitive Ballet exercises. The class is set to upbeat music and is a good cardio workout. No dance experience is needed. Guaranteed to reshape your legs within a few sessions. Taught by Elisheva and Chagit.

Group Machine Pilates classes are smaller than mat classes (up to 8 people in each class) and offer an opportunity for more personal attention from the teacher. We have 6 springboards and 2 reformers - you can choose to work on either piece of equipment. Exercises are performed working against the resistance of the Pilates springs. One of the great benefits of working with Pilates machines is the ability to change the tension to suit each client in each exercise. The variety of exercises is endless so you will learn new exercises each time to challenge your coordination and ability. The machines offer a great way to build strength and stability in the hip joints, shoulders, back and core. Each student can work at their own pace and with the right amount of resistance for them with the guidance of the teacher. Classes are taught by Elisheva and Shira. Machine classes are set at a different price to the regular studio classes - for info on pricing please click here.
The Pilates Reformer is a wonderful way to tone up your entire body. Get deeper into your stretches and feel fully supported by the machine. Our small group classes offer the opportunity to work closely with the teacher on your own goals and targets. With just 3 people in class, you can guarantee plenty of attention from the teacher and can work at your own pace. Ask for the workout you want and the exercises will be tailored to you. The class is suitable for all ages, prenatal and post natal women as well as those working around injuries. Classes are one hour long. (100nis per person)
Private classes are offered in both Yoga and Pilates and in personal training. Classes can be arranged at the studio at a convenient time for you with your favourite instructor. A private class is a great way to work on your form and alignment or to work around an injury. You will receive a postural analysis and a personal program will be designed for you to suit your needs.
